EIA of the kids’ summer camp of the Bank of Greece

The objective of this assignment was the EIA study preparation of the kids’ summer camp of the Bank of Greece at Attica, Greece. This was an existing summer camp of 106 ha within the Natura 2000 protected area of the Parnitha mountain.

During this assignment a methodology was constructed in order to prepare the appropriate EIA study. In particular, this methodology consisted of the following stages: a) desktop study during which all available data were reviewed, b) site visits during which the main environmental related areas were visited and the key personnel were interviewed, c) description of the environment, d) identification of the main environmental and social impacts, d) determination of the mitigation measures. The EIA study was prepared and submitted to the pertinent authority, it was reviewed and approved.

 

EIA of the WWTP of Amfissa town (14,000 p.e.)

The objective of this assignment was the EIA study preparation of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of Amfissa town. This was an existing WWTP for 14,000 p.e. including wastewater pre-treatment, biological treatment, sedimentation, disinfection and storage of the treated effluent in a maturation pond, before the reuse for irrigation of one of the largest olive groves in Greece.
